If there’s bread on the table, I’m probably reaching for the olive oil.
As a Spaniard, that habit comes pretty naturally. A drizzle here, a splash there… suddenly everything tastes better.
In Spain, olive oil isn’t a luxury. It’s just life. A splash in the pan. A drizzle over tomatoes. Bread, olive oil, maybe a pinch of salt.
Wherever I’ve lived, that little ritual has followed me. Good ingredients. Good bread. And olive oil close by.
But something always surprised me. The kind of olive oil people use every day in Spain - fresh, vibrant, generous - was strangely hard to find. And when you did find it, it often felt too special to actually use.
Back home, olive oil flows. It’s everyday. Alive in the kitchen. Part of cooking, part of sharing food, part of life around the table.
I want to bring that feeling to more
tables around the world. Not just exceptional Spanish extra virgin olive oil, but the spirit that comes with it: the Mediterranean way of cooking, eating, and living.
Because great olive oil shouldn’t hide inside a cupboard. It should live on the counter. On the table. And on your food, every single day.
That’s the idea behind GOTA.
